Alexandra joined Gascon in 2021. Since the beginning of her career, she has concentrated on insurance law, starting out in the legal department of a Quebec insurance company and then moving into private practice.
Her expertise and experience are put to good use in a variety of complex and demanding cases, including cases of alleged fraud requiring in-depth investigation and the defense of school boards and institutions, manufacturing defect claims, personal and commercial liability, municipal liability, professional liability and personal injury, among others.
Alexandra is also certified in Cyber Insurance Risk by the Insurance Institute of Canada, and her expertise as breach counsel is put to good use for insurers and institutional clients. Thanks to her education in law and psychology, Alexandra is particularly well-equipped for negotiation and conflict resolution, an indispensable asset in today’s legal trends.
Alexandra also devotes her time to charitable causes close to her heart. She was a member of the Board of Directors of Préma-Québec, a non-profit organization that supports parents of children born prematurely. She was also a volunteer educator for Éducaloi, a non-profit organization dedicated to ensuring access to justice for Quebecers.
