Alice Nikolov joined Gascon in 2025 and practices mainly in civil and commercial litigation and insurance law. She advises and represents a diverse clientele, including insurers, major corporations and sports federations facing complex liability and risk management issues.
Prior to joining the firm, Alice acquired solid expertise in cybersecurity and cyber incident management at an international law firm. As breach counsel, she was the first point of contact for many major incidents, advising Canadian and international clients on data protection legal compliance and risk management. She also has extensive experience in insurance litigation, including subrogation and product liability.
A member of the Quebec Bar since 2021, Alice holds a law degree from the Université de Sherbrooke. She is fluent in French, English, Bulgarian and Spanish, enabling her to work with international clients on transnational issues.
Curious and committed, she has sat on the Information Technology Committee of the Jeune Barreau de Montréal and held the position of Editor-in-Chief of the Revue de droit de l’Université de Sherbrooke. Her taste for adventure and thirst for discovery have led her to explore more than 25 countries, an experience that has enriched her ability to adapt and sharpened her view of her legal practice.
