Karine Blais, our new General Manager, has a wealth of knowledge and experience in many fields.

Karine is a trained accountant, having obtained her Chartered Professional Accountant designation in 2003. Not only does she hold the CPA designation, but from 2007 to 2018 she worked for the Ordre des CPA du Québec as Assistant Director, Practice Support, and other responsibilities.

From 2018 until she joined Gascon, Karine pursued her career with another professional order, the Ordre des opticiens d’ordonnances du Québec, where she served as general manager and secretary, honing her skills in management, administration and corporate governance.

With this background, she will take charge of financial, material and human resources management at Gascon, providing support and experience to the partners.

On the volunteer front, her desire to raise awareness of migraine led her to become involved with Migraine Québec, a charitable organization whose mission is to provide support and information to the tens of thousands of people living with this disease, as well as to their loved ones, notably by overseeing their rights as sufferers. Karine has been a member of the Migraine Québec Board of Directors since 2021.
