After practicing with a large law firm, Mr. Lanthier joined the Gascon team in 2016 and became a partner in 2018. His practice focuses mainly on real estate law, particularly in the areas of financing, property acquisition and sale, and partnerships. Having previously practiced as a notary, his experience in real estate law enables him to effectively advise clients he represents, such as financial institutions, real estate developers, retirement home owners and private lenders.
In this capacity, he is involved in negotiating partnerships, buying and selling properties, and arranging real estate and commercial financing. He helps draft legal documents such as financing offers, loan agreements, mortgages, easements, declarations of co-ownership and partnership agreements. He also participates in editing and writing opinions on titles.
