Gascon et Associés is delighted to announce the arrival of two new professionals, Maïka Dion-Test and Andréanne St-Amand Séguin. We are proud to welcome these two talents, who will enrich our legal expertise and consolidate our reputation for excellence.

In September 2023, Maïka Dion-Test joined our team as a notary specializing in commercial real estate law. It excels in real estate financing and acquisition. Graduating with honors in law from the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM), Maïka went on to earn a Master’s degree in notarial law (LL.M.) with honors. She has demonstrated her commitment as an active member of her university’s cross-country and track & field team, where she has proudly represented her school and holds the university record in the 600 m run. Her discipline and determination are also reflected in her legal career. Maïka is also involved with the Clinique juridique de l’UQAM, helping to promote access to justice within a non-profit organization. We are honoured to have Maïka on board, and look forward to seeing her career flourish at Gascon & Associates.

In October 2023, Ms. St-Amand Séguin joined our Corporate Services team. She plays a key role in drafting closing documents for a variety of transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, financings and tax and commercial reorganizations. She assists our lawyers with closing preparations, reviews minutes and prepares the necessary documentation for our clients and lawyers, including incorporations, organizations, amendments, dissolutions and many other share-related transactions. With a strong background in business law, she has worked in law firms of various sizes, acquiring knowledge in estate, tax and corporate law. We are proud to welcome Ms. St-Amand Séguin and to benefit from her expertise.
