We are proud to welcome these two talented additions, who will enrich our legal expertise and consolidate our reputation for excellence.<\/p>\n<p>Ma\u00efka Dion-Test joined our team as a notary specializing in commercial real estate law in September 2023. She excels in the areas of real estate financing and acquisition. She graduated with honours in law from the Universit\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al (UQAM) and went on to earn a master\u2019s degree in notarial law (LL.M.) with distinction. She showed her commitment as an active member of her university\u2019s cross-country and track &amp; field team, where she proudly represented her school and holds the university record for the 600m run. Her discipline and determination are also echoed in her legal career. Ma\u00efka was also involved with UQAM\u2019s legal clinic, promoting access to justice within a non-profit organization. We are honoured to have Ma\u00efka as part of our team and look forward to seeing her career flourish at Gascon.<\/p>\n<p>Ms. St-Armand S\u00e9guin joined our Corporate Services team in October 2023. She is instrumental in drafting closing documents for various transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, financing and tax and commercial restructuring. She assists our attorneys in preparing closings, revises minutes, and prepares the necessary documents for our clients and attorneys, including incorporations, organizations, amendments, dissolutions, and many other share-related transactions. She has acquired a strong background in business law, working in law firms of various sizes, and acquired knowledge in estate, tax, and corporate law.
