Mr. Proulx has been practicing commercial, real estate and corporate law for over 40 years. He acts primarily as an advisor and negotiator in the fields of financing, acquisition and sale of real estate assets, business law, corporate law and financial restructuring. He is also involved in various other fields of practice, such as construction, real estate development and retirement home management.<\/p>\n
His experience has led him to work with a wide range of individuals, companies and institutions in the business world, as well as with in-house counsel for numerous companies. He has written or commented on several instruction or work manuals and financing documents used by financial institutions and private companies.<\/p>\n
Mr. Proulx has taught at the Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al’s Faculty of Law and at the Quebec Bar’s continuing education program. He is a member of the Union Internationale des Avocats and has been a speaker at this international association’s congresses, notably in Nice and Seville. In addition, he has been a guest lecturer at a major Quebec financial institution’s continuing education program for executives, and is regularly asked to give lectures on real estate law. He has served on the boards of several non-profit organizations and is currently a director of the Ronald McDonald House in Montreal.<\/p>\n
