Our Real Estate Law Group collaborates on and executes complex real estate transactions, providing a wide range of services to clients in the sector.

As part of your duties, you will represent the interests of financial institutions, real estate investors, creditors and real estate developers. This includes preparing real estate partnerships and financing agreements while coordinating the development of real estate projects. You will take part in negotiations related to purchase offers, real estate leasing, development agreements and construction contracts, while maintaining direct contact with clients. In addition to negotiation skills, the ideal candidate will possess excellent drafting abilities.

The incumbent will assist clients in ensuring the success of their projects, becoming an integral part of every stage of real estate development. As part of this role, the individual will also be involved in forming companies, preparing corporate documents related to financing and drafting shareholder or limited partnership agreements.

EXPERIENCE AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Member of the Québec Bar
  • Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written
  • Minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in real estate law
  • Previous experience in commercial and corporate law or interest in developing this area of practice

Our firm is looking for a transactional and corporate associate to expand our management team and provide relevant experience to existing lawyers.

Demonstrating an entrepreneurial spirit, keen to develop and supervise existing professionals, the ideal candidate will have at least 10-15 years’ experience and already have a good client base in corporate reorganization, mergers and acquisitions, securities and commercial law.

As part of your duties, you will be responsible for providing high‑quality services in connection with our clients’ commercial and real estate transactions, including the preparation of documentation related to business transactions, corporate reorganizations, rollovers, mergers and acquisitions, and due diligence. As a member of the team, you will take part in negotiations and discussions with the various professionals involved, while maintaining direct contact with clients. In addition to negotiation skills, the ideal candidate must possess excellent drafting and communication abilities.

The position holder will support clients to help ensure the success of their projects. As part of this support, the position holder will also be called upon to prepare corporate documents related to financing, review issued tax memorandums, and draft partnership agreements and shareholders’ agreements.

  • Member of the Barreau du Québec
  • Minimum of two (2) to five (5) years of experience in corporate law
  • Prior experience in commercial law or an interest in developing this area of practice is an asset

The notary will be responsible for coordinating, preparing, and executing various types of real estate files, including commercial real estate financings and commercial real estate transactions. The notary may also be called upon to draft servitude deeds, consents to cadastral modifications, etc., as well as conduct title examinations and prepare title reports.
